SFG Program Information

This is my first time joining an orchestra and this opportunity gave me the joy of playing in an ensemble.

Strings for Generations Parent

The Strings for Generations program is geared toward students in grades 4 – 9 who have completed at least one year of string music instruction at their school, and at least one adult family member who participates with them. Adult participants can sign up to play a string instrument or learn how to play a percussion instrument and recorder.

Program Response to Covid-19

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Strings for Generations met virtually during the Fall of 2020 and Spring of 2021. The virtual program involved a mix of small-group sectional coaching led by Pacific Symphony instructors and larger-group ensemble coaching led by Pacific Symphony’s Assistant Conductor, Dr. Jacob Sustaita.

Strings for Generations is not currently meeting.
