Students are nominated by teachers, tutors, or any adult who can vouch for their creative spark and that they would benefit from this creative cocoon to explore their inner artist! To apply for the chance at this once-in-a-lifetime summer, students need to fill out an online or paper application. You will be notified of your application status within two weeks of submitting, and will receive next-step information and instructions on registration and tuition.
In addition to our summer program, students may also apply to join our spring workshop. Open to any 6th – 8th grader interested in getting a taste of the arts-X-press summer program, our spring workshop is a great way to meet staff, counselors, alumni, and other campers before July!
Applications for arts-X-press 2023 and the arts-X-press spring 2023 workshop are available now!
We are also welcoming back arts-X-press alums (ages 12-15) to apply for our BRAND-NEW program, arts-X-pansion, which will occur at the same time as arts-X-press!
Students in the arts-X-pansion program will be encouraged to take even more creative risks and explore the intersection between leadership and the arts through a week of fun leadership building, community exploration, and professional art career discovery.
The full tuition for arts-X-press is $850, which covers all costs for the program including room, board and performance tickets. Applications for financial aid will be sent with acceptance letters. NO student will ever be turned away from arts-X-press for financial reasons. Financial aid is available to all students, based on need, and we are committed to making it possible for all accepted students to attend.
