The talented young musicians of Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings, under the direction of their new music director, Dr. Johanna Gamboa-Kroesen, open the season with the rousing Overture to Glinka's opera, Ruslan and Ludmilla
, followed by string arrangements of four art songs by Franz Schubert. The program closes with music by two contemporary composers: The Horizon
by Yukiko Nishimura and Red Rhythmico
by Kirt Mosier.
