Led by Alexander Shelley, the orchestra completes the program with Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra, a vivid showcase of color and character from the composer’s American years.

Ruth Reinhardt makes her Pacific Symphony debut in a festive, holiday-ready program celebrating international voices that shaped American concert life. A magical family opera adventure based on the beloved story The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupéry and composed by Academy Award-winning composer Rachel Portman. In this charming, music-filled production, the Little Prince and his pilot friend travel through wonder and imagination, meeting marvelous characters like a wise fox, a proud rose, and other colorful creatures as they learn timeless lessons about friendship, caring, and seeing with the heart.
