Inspired by a Bavarian folk poem and a song he wrote, Gustav Mahler’s fourth symphony is an exploration of the idea of heaven from the perspective of a child. Come experience the sunniest of all his symphonies.

Audience Advisory:
For the time being, all ticket holders over the age of 14 must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test (PCR test taken within 48 hours or antigen test taken within 24 hours of the performance). Home tests will not be accepted. Guests over the age of 18 must also bring photo ID. Masks are strongly recommended. Learn more.

Pre-Concert Music in the Lobby
Chelsea Chaves (soprano) and Dr. Cheryl Lin Fielding (piano) will be performing songs by Gustav Mahler from 2:30-2:50 p.m. Mahler's love of vocal music led him to incorporate it into some of his greatest works, including his Symphony No. 4.
