Years with arts-X-press: 6

Alyssa was an arts-X-press camper in 2015, and this will be her sixth year on the staff team. She is currently a full-time student and part-time educator and has fond memories of the program. 

“Every summer, I'm reminded that making art and taking creative risks are fundamental to everything I do, across personal, professional, and academic settings. I'm grateful to stay in the arts-X-press family as a coordinator and hope to continue to pass on the magic and inspire my community in other roles for many years to come! As a camper, AXP allowed me to build community with other passionate young artists and connect with my peers in a safe space. AXP is a judgement free zone where young artists are allowed to create art without the pressure of grades or competition; the fun is in the process and the community we build along the way.”
