Elementary School Instrumental Music Teacher for Garden Grove USD and Freelance Trumpet Player

Tim has been teaching elementary school music in Garden Grove USD since 2017. He has advocated for his students and fellow staff as department chair for several years and directed honor groups for his district. Outside of teaching, Tim can be found performing regularly with bands and orchestras around the greater Southern California area. He has performed around the world while working on cruise ships and during jazz big band tours. Locally, he played trumpet at Disneyland for several years and has been active in the SoCal jazz scene for over 15 years. He is excited to share his passion for music education, performance, and artistic expression through music with the campers, counselors, and staff at arts-X-press.
