Laura is a long-time choral music educator who is the current choral director at Beckman High School in Irvine. She is also a former Hollywood producer with a decade of experience, whose credits include the Academy Award–winning March of the Penguins and Free Willy 3. A passionate advocate for choral music as a vibrant art form, she brings a wealth of experience in nurturing and developing voices of all ranges, timbre and types. Laura wants campers to learn that “singing can be healing, motivating, reenforcing, encouraging and comforting, and it's an activity anyone can do alone or with others. It's truly a universal language that can bring peace and harmony to our world.”
