Celebrate your inner child with Ravel's masterpiece, the one-act opera “L'enfant et les sortilèges” (“The Child and the Magic Spells”), in which a young boy encounters magical forces, including dancing chairs, a grumpy grandfather clock, two amorous cats and a singing squirrel. The program opens with music selections in remembrance of Principal Cellist Timothy Landauer.
