Pershing Fallahpour

Pershing Fallahpour is a percussionist specializing in both traditional Persian and contemporary percussion. She began playing the tombak at the age of 12 and later studied music at the Tehran Conservatory of Music. She has performed extensively as a tombak and daf player with numerous traditional Persian music ensembles, appearing in many concerts and live performances.

Alongside her work in Persian music, she plays cajón and drum set, performing with rock, pop, and metal bands, and has appeared in live television performances. In 2019, she performed as a drummer with a metal band at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, Texas.

She has also performed daf and cajón with the Roudaki Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Shahrdad Rohani.
