Cao Kefan is a television host, actor, and writer. As the chief host of Shanghai Media Group, he is the founder of the high-end celebrity interview program Listen to Kefan, through which he has interviewed nearly a thousand prominent figures from various fields. He has also hosted over a thousand large-scale galas. Additionally, he collaborated with director Zhang Yimou in the film The Flowers of War. He has published several essay collections and a family history monograph titled Dreams and Shadows of the Li Garden.
