The talented young musicians of Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings, under the direction of their new music director, Dr. Johanna Gamboa-Kroesen, open the season with the rousing Overture to Glinka's opera,
Ruslan and Ludmilla, followed by string arrangements of four art songs by Franz Schubert. The program closes with music by two contemporary composers:
The Horizon by Yukiko Nishimura and
Red Rhythmico by Kirt Mosier.
Admission is free, but tickets are required. Seating is general admission.
