Linda Owen, violinist, has been a member of Pacific Symphony since its first season in 1978. She was raised in Los Angeles, and received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education from Whittier College.

Her teachers have included Donald Gelman, Ruth Haroldson, Mehli Mehta and David Margetts. She is retired from the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District where she was an instrumental music teacher and the Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator for 37 years. Owen is the first violinist of the Santiago String Quartet.
