Elyse Lauzon joined Pacific Symphony as 4th horn in September 2019. Prior to this, she was 2nd horn of the Sarasota Orchestra. Lauzon is a former member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and has also performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Los Angeles Philharmonic. She has attended several music festivals including Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music in Santa Cruz, St. Barths in the French West Indies, as well as Tanglewood, Aspen and Music Academy of the West. Lauzon attended Northwestern University for her Master of Music and also earned a Professional Studies Certificate and Bachelor of Music from The Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles. Lauzon's former teachers include Andrew Bain, Gail Williams, Jon Boen, David Krehbiel and Erik Ralske.
