Opera Outings

Join fellow Orange County opera lovers with Pacific Symphony’s Opera Outings! These fabulous afternoons include luxury bus travel to selected Los Angeles and San Diego Opera matinee performances, an elegant box lunch and special insight into the production en route by Pacific Symphony’s Director of Education & Community Engagement Susan Kotses. Our charter bus leaves from Antonello Ristorante in Costa Mesa with an additional stop in San Juan Capistrano and provides transportation to and from the front door of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion or the San Diego Civic Center.

The cost for each outing covers the expense of the bus, lunch and a pre-opera lecture on the journey to our destination. We also include a small “up-charge” to combine with funds from Opera FOCUS that provide complimentary tickets to opera/music students from local institutions. To date, we have invited singers from Chapman University, CSU-Fullerton, OC High School for the Arts, St. Margaret’s School, and others.
