Soojin Kang is a percussionist from South Korea, currently residing in Los Angeles. While in Korea, Soojin performed with many acclaimed ensembles and won a Principal Timpani position with the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra in 2021. She now holds a trial with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

 She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Percussion Performance from Seoul National University. Then in 2018, She moved to the United States to study abroad at the University of Southern California under LA Philharmonic members James Babor and Joseph Pereira. Soojin got her Master's degree there and taught students as a teaching assistant.

 She attended the Verbier Music Festival and National Repertoiry Orchestra Festival. She won the SNU Brass and Percusson Competition, CBS Percusson Competition and Korea Music Society Competition
