Yu-tong Sharp has been with Pacific Symphony since 1994. She was born in Beijing China, and started violin lessons at age 6 with her father. At age 7, she went to the Central Conservatory, and in 1990 she received a full scholarship to go to the University of Southern California (USC). At that time, she moved to the states to study at USC with Professor Alice Shoenfeld. She received her Artist Diploma in 1994.
