Nancy Eldridge has been a first violinist of the Pacific Symphony since 1996. Early in her career she was also a member of the San Diego Opera and Opera Pacific, and was a yearly contracted substitute with the San Diego Symphony. More recently, she has elected to work more locally, coaching violinists in the Pacific Symphony Youth Ensembles and teaching privately. For 19 years she was honored to be a teaching artist in Class Act. In this program, she worked side by side with Pacific Symphony volunteers, staff, board members and fellow Pacific Symphony colleagues to bring high quality and fun classroom music lessons and concerts to thousands of Orange County elementary age students.
She comes from a family that loves music. She and her husband, a guitarist, share that love of learning and creating music with the students enrolled in their Costa Mesa home music studio.
