Active and Patron Members

The mission of the Pacific Symphony League is to provide meaningful support to Pacific Symphony through volunteerism and ambassadorship, operate a Symphony Shop as a fundraising activity, and offer forums for members to share their passion for symphonic music.

There are two levels of basic membership for the League: Active Volunteer ($50) and Patron ($175). Patron members support the mission of the Pacific Symphony League through increased financial support and Active Volunteer members volunteer their time, talent and energy to make programs possible.

Musical Petting ZooLeague members experience so many richly rewarding moments by volunteering with a number of the award-winning education and community programs of Pacific Symphony. Through volunteering at the Class Act Youth Concerts, Family Musical Mornings concerts, Musical Carnivals, Symphony in the Cities and so much more, they are able to bring young people face-to-face with Symphony musicians and see the excitement of so many families attending their first ever symphony concert. Volunteering with the League not only changes the lives of the children and families you help, but it can change your life, too! This story from Joe Svehla, current League President and 2012 Hats Off! Volunteer of the Year, proves the power of the volunteer experience.

But volunteering isn’t all we do! At General Membership Luncheons, League members are able to hear from and converse with Pacific Symphony musicians and leadership, such as Music Director Carl St.Clair, President John Forsyte, and Associate Concertmaster, Paul Manaster.

General Membership Luncheons take place on Monday afternoons throughout the year and start at 11 a.m.

Pacific Symphony League Board Meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of the month at the Pacific Symphony office on Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana. All interested members are welcome.

We would love to welcome you to the group! For more information, contact Eveline Eng, membership chair at (714) 963-4870.
