Harvard University

Harvard University has a variety of free online courses taught by Harvard University professors. Some of our favorites include: Handel's Messiah and Baroque Oratorio, Beethoven's 9th Symphony and the 19th Century Orchestra and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring: Modernism, Ballet, and Riots. 

Stanford, Yale and Princeton also have online course offerings that include courses related to classical music. 


Audit courses from Berklee College of Music online, such as Music for Wellness and Introduction to Music Theory. 

MacPhail Center for Music 

Take a music lesson from home with a teaching artist, no matter your age, level or instrument. 


Learn from people at the top of their fields through Masterclass. Check out  jazz with Herbie Hancock, violin with Itzhak Perlman or film scoring with Hans Zimmer. 

Classical KUSC 

Classical KUSC has an extensive roundup of offerings for all ages from classical music and arts organizations across the state.

MCArt Studios 

For kids and adults alike, McArt studios offers online art classes that are personalized for each artist! Classes are free and you work at your own pace. All lessons offer real time step by step instruction.

Dancing Alone Together 

In this unprecedented time of isolation, Dancing Alone Together aims to be a central resource for the digital dance world that is beginning to bloom. Classes happen all day every day and cover so many different genres!

Backhaus Dance 

This FREE channel provides varied technique and conditioning classes that will keep you moving with us from wherever you are. Orange County based Backhaus Dance is now available online for anyone who is ready to dance with them!

Atomic Ballroom 

Everything from salsa, country two step, swing, and tap, Atomic Ballroom in Irvine provides online dance tutorials that gets you and your quarantine buddy up and moving! No time like now to try out some new dance moves.
