Katie Baker
Katie Baker is excited to be a part of Pacific Symphony’s Family Musical Mornings! As a young child, Baker attended these Musical Mornings programs with her family, and recently she has been volunteering as an usher and assistant. Baker is in the Instrumental Music Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts, and she plays French Horn in the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra (under the direction of Dr. Jacob Sustaita!).

Baker also enjoys acting and is in her seventh year with the Laguna Playhouse Youth Theater Conservatory. She has played the roles of Smee in Peter and the Starcatcher, Wanda in the musical Wanda’s World, Sam in The Perfect Dog, and Freya in The Marvel Plays. A few of her other favorite productions have been Disenchanted, Godspell, Oliver, and I Never Saw Another Butterfly. With other theater groups, she has participated in Matilda (South Coast Repertory Summer Players), School of Rock and Cinderella (No Square Theatre), Bye, Bye Birdie (Laguna Beach High School) and Damn Yankees (Gallimaufry Theatre). Baker sings with the Southern California Children’s Choir and the American Ballet Theater Nutcracker orchestra chorus. She also enjoys tap dancing and ballet. She would like to thank Jonathan Terry, Jake Sustaita and Joe Lauderdale for this great experience!
