I-Chin “Betty”Lee is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton in vocal performance and music education. She currently sings professionally with Pacific Chorale, the John Alexander Singers and First Presbyterian Church in Orange. She has performed as a chorister and soloist with Pacific Chorale on numerous occasions, appearing most recently as a soloist in Duruflé’s Requiem in March 2009, Bach’s St. John’s Passion in April 2009 and Rachmaninoff’s Vespers in May 2010. Among her Southland solo performances are Handel’s Messiah in June 2009 with The National Children’s Choir at The Broad Stage of Santa Monica, and in December 2009 with Camerata Singers of Long Beach. Recent solo work includes Beethoven’s Chorale Fantasy with Pacific Symphony, celebrating Carl St.Clair’s 20th anniversary, and Mendelssohn’s Elijah with Pacific Chorale.
