Yngwie Slassh Zamarippa

Yngwie Slassh Zamarippa is a Mexican-American tenor from the city of San Juan Capistrano, who is currently completing his Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance at Cal State University, Fullerton. He recently placed second in the 2021 Music Associates Student Solo Concerto/Aria Competition for the Vocal Division. Yngwie has performed the role of Don Ottavio from Don Giovanni and has performed scenes from Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, and Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress. He is currently preparing for the role of Rinuccio in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. His performance with Pacific Symphony Youth Wind Ensemble is his formal debut and he is extremely honored to have the opportunity to create music with PSYWE, especially in these unusual times.
