Music Director Carl St.Clair and the orchestra explore music by or honoring those Tom Brokaw described as “the greatest generation any society has produced” – highlighted by "Mount Rushmore," a new work commissioned especially for the 2010 American Composers Festival by Pacific Symphony.

Festival Prelude at 7 p.m. and post-concert discussion with documentarian George Stoney, composer-in-residence Michael Daugherty and host Joseph Horowitz.
