OC Can You Sing?

OC Can You Sing? was an open amateur singing competition for Orange County.
No prior professional experience required; in fact, only amateurs were eligible!

OC CAN YOU SING?
Application period: December 16 - January 31
Semi-Final Round: February 12
Final Round: March 17-19

During OC Can You Sing? participants uploaded videos of themselves singing for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform onstage with Pacific Symphony. Thirteen semi-finalists auditioned in front of Principal Pops Conductor Richard Kaufman and four finalists performed on our Pops series on March 17-19 with Katharine McPhee. The audience voted for the winner, who received a future performance with Pacific Symphony.

The results are in!

The winner of the final round of the "OC Can You Sing?" amateur singing competition on March 17-19 is:

Cody Morgan
who won over the hearts (and votes) of the audience with his rendition of "If Ever I Would Leave You" from Camelot.
Cody wins a future performance opportunity with Pacific Symphony.

Congratulations to Cody and thanks to all four finalists for great performances all three nights.
