Concert Previews

Each Pacific Symphony Classics Concert at the Performing Arts Center is preceded by a free, informal discussion about the evening’s program known as a Preview. The Previews are presented by knowledgeable hosts including KUSC radio personality Alan Chapman and Associate Conductor Michael Hall. The Previews feature discussions about the symphonic works to be performed by the Symphony on that evening’s concert and include musical examples of each composer’s style, amusing historical anecdotes and unique insights into the composers’ and world-renowned guest artists’ lives. The final result is a heightened understanding and enjoyment of the concert.
